Tank Maniacs FAQ

What is this game, is this for me?

Tank Maniacs is local multiplayer party game for 1-4 players. It’s mostly about destroying your closest friends’ hopes and dreams with weird tanks.

Multiplayer? Can I play online?

Tank Maniacs is based on local multiplayer, ideal for couch battles with your friends. Therefore there is no built in online multiplayer in the game. However, Steam remote play functions properly, therefore you can try out online multiplayer via this nice function from Steam. Just keep in mind that you share controls (on keyboard), so don’t be a cheater!

How many tanks do you have in the game?

We have 11 wonderfully unique and strange tanks at the moment. Our engineering works now on new tanks, currently fine tuning them under the hood. Each tank in the arsenal will be announced once their firepower and battlefield abilities stand the ground, so stay tuned!

How many maps can I play on?

There are 8 different maps in the game. New arenas are under construction!

How many friends can I play with?

You can play this game with three friends or enemies – your choice.

I don’t always have a party at home, unfortunately. Can I play the game alone?

We have our imaginary friends available for you all the time: we will simply fill your party with AI controller BOTs. They are unforgiving. Nice, but unforgiving.

What platforms are you going to support?

Tank Maniacs is available for PC, Mac and Linux – please check our Steam page. Later in 2020 we plan our first console releases for PS4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

How can I give you feedback or report a bug?

Easy. You can join our Discord Server and talk to our people, or you can send and email to our support staff. They are pretty cool people, too.

What kind of controllers do you support?

We support pretty much all controllers that you can connect to your PC. If you find one that we don’t send us a mail and we’ll try to sort it out.

I want to make you guys famous. Can I make YouTube or Twitch content from Tank Maniacs?

Absolutely. We’re glad that you find our game so much fun that you want to share it with your community.

What is Gamelab?

We’re an indie game developer studio based in Budapest, Hungary.

Is Tank Maniacs your first game?

Nope. We’ve published a cute hand-drawn runner called Wormster Dash. You can check it out, it’s available on Steam, Android and iOS.
